Marcus v Kearanen

Guide Dog, Positive Partners Assistance Dogs, Inc

l

Marcus was a guide dog in training when he suffered a permanent disability due to a neutering procedure that went horribly wrong. In his honor, the Board of Directors of Positive Partners Assistance Dogs, Inc,  chose to call the dogs they train for others, the “Marcus Program”. Marcus was unable to be placed as a guide dog, but continues to work for the PPAD organization as an ambassador, in educational programs at the high school level and in pet therapy programs.
Miracle Marcus savors every moment of every day of his life and teaches us all to live our lives with determination and passion!  Every day with Marcus is a blessing!
Marcus saves the lives of other dogs through the research and successful experimental procedure performed to correct his urethral stricture by Dr. Bonnie Campbell at Washington State University. He was a featured patient on the WSU Veterinary School website: www.vetmed.wsu.edu/features/marcus.asp
Truly, Marcus is a Miracle!  Dr. Campbell, you are Marcus' hero!
